OCEAN CITY – In Ocean City’s non-partisan election May 8, Mayor Jay Gillian is seeking a third term, challenged by former city councilman John Flood.

Through the campaign, Flood has challenged city spending and suggested that Gillian has not been transparent enough in his decisions. Gillian has cited the extensive city projects undertaken in his eight years in office, saying he wants to continue that work.
