Lower Township Republicans Endorse Councilmen

By Press Release

VILLAS – The Bayshore Inn was filled to capacity last week in support of Dave Perry, Councilman Tom Conrad and Councilman Erik Simonsen, who were unanimously endorsed by Lower Township Republicans to run for the Ward 1, 2 and 3 seats on Council.
“I would like to thank my family and friends, all the people who came out to the Bayshore last week, and the many more that have already called me and stopped me in stores to offer their support. The overwhelming support I have received so far is unbelievable; it’s truly humbling,” said Perry. “The people of Ward 2 are frustrated with how Council is conducting its business and want a Councilman who will represent them rather than blindly follow others. They deserve a representative who will address their concerns and do what is right for Lower Township. I am grateful that the Republican Party sees me as that candidate.”
Conrad added, “I am honored by the endorsement and would like to thank the LTRRO and the hard working people of Ward 1 for their support over the years. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our Township.” He continued, “This election will determine the direction that the Township will move over the next couple of years and I say with full confidence that Erik, Dave and I will work together to move the Township in the right direction. We will make decisions based upon the best interests of Lower Township, and not the self-guided interests that lead others.”
Simonsen stated, “I am honored to accept the Ward 3 endorsement and thank the Republican Party for their continued confidence in me. I anticipate an energetic election cycle and look forward to running with Tom Conrad and Dave Perry. I hope to continue representing the good people of Lower Township and together with Tom and Dave we can return the Township to policies of fiscal restraint.”
