Lovett Advocates Ecology In Congressional Run

By Al Campbell

Mark Lovett, 48, an independent Ventnor resident, is seeking a two-year term as New Jersey’s Second Congressional District representative, a two-year post that pays $174,000 annually.
According to his website, which depicts an ocean scene?
“Frank LoBiondo has got to go!
“Enjoy this beautiful ocean view because there is a possibility it will be drenched with oil and the ecology it once had will be destroyed. Frank LoBiondo has taken 1000s of dollars of BP PAC money over the years and recently voted to deregulate the oil industry so it can continue to drill unabated off the pristine coasts of North America.
“We need a congressman who truly cares about the environment and who does not compromise his values for big oil or big business.
“Elect Mark Lovett as your new congressman of the Second District. He will work on your behalf to protect the coastal economy that all of us depend up for enjoyment and livelihood.”
