DeWeese, Fiocchi and Walters Face Trenton Trio

By Press Release

COURT HOUSE – Its on!! The legislative candidates will debate tonight in the Old Historic Court House in downtown Cape May Court House on Route 9 starting at 7 p.m. Thanks to the insistence of DeWeese, Fiocchi and Walters, this year’s debate will feature questions from the audience and questions between the candidates. Van Drew balked at the open debate format, but the League of Women Voters embraced it and it will be put to use tonight. Expect some fireworks as the first head-to-head of the new versus old takes place. The debate will be streamed live over the internet at www.987thecoast.com
Not that parking is ever easy in downtown Cape May Court House, but be advised that the Middle Township Halloween Parade will be taking place starting at 6pm and the route takes it right past the Old Courthouse. If you are coming out for the debate, you will need to find parking in the Boyd street area or library parking lot area.
As we approach debate time, a breaking news story is catching fire out of Cumberland County. An Atlantic City Democrat and Obama organizer is on the Van Drew payroll according to state election reports and is at work in District One. Wilson has documented connections to the infamous Callaway Organization in Atlantic City. You remember the scandals and the trials and the jail sentences. Now, Wilson has collected over 1000 mail-in ballot applications for Van Drew and the Democrats and Wilson has signed each and everyone as the “assistor.” Dozens have been thrown out so far: a 14 year old kid; felons; addresses that don’t match registration records; signatures that don’t match; people obtaining as many as three ballots. Acorn-style tactics brought to you by Jeff Van Drew and the Democrats. The Cumberland County Republican Organization has referred the matter to the Attorney General’s Office and requested a full investigation. Everyone has a right to register and vote, but not more then once and not if they are not legally qualified. There are a whole lot of problems with Marcus Wilson’s 1000+ ballot requests. We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg right now. Stay tuned. Here’s Van Drew being escorted by Marcus Wilson at one of his “voter drives” in Cumberland County. Election reports show Van Drew and the Democrats have paid him thousands of dollars so far.
Ordered and paid for by Cape May County Regular Republican Organization, 6201 New Jersey Ave.,Wildwood Crest, N.J. 08260.
