COURT HOUSE – James Pickering, newly re-elected chairman of the Cape May Regular Democratic Committee, reminds all voters that they can vote by mail in the upcoming Nov. 4 general election.
“As Democrats we believe that any reform that makes voter participation easier and encourages a larger electorate is fundamentally good for our democracy, our country, state, county and local communities,” stated Pickering.
Pickering, who was reelected chairman at the County Democratic Committee’s reorganization meeting on June 5th, continued: “We encourage every single eligible voter to cast a ballot in November.”
Pickering said that voters with questions on election process issues and voter registration could consult their local Democratic official or contact the County Board of Elections at (609) 465-1050.
Joining Pickering on the leadership of the County Committee are Suzanne Pasley, vice chair, of Middle Township; Ken Merson, recording secretary, of Sea Isle City; Barbara Wilson, corresponding secretary, of Avalon; Bobby Barr, treasurer, of Ocean City; and Norman Matz, sergeant at arms, of Upper Township.
