County GOP Backs Christie for Governor

By Herald Staff

PARSIPPANY, NJ – The Cape May County Regular Republican Organization Thursday, March 19 announced their endorsement of Chris Christie’s candidacy for Governor, awarding him “the line” for their county primary election.
According to a release, the endorsement was awarded after every single town in the county endorsed Christie at a series of local caucuses over the last month.
“I’m working hard all over New Jersey to spread my message of lower taxes and economic growth for our state, and it’s gratifying that it’s translating to such strong momentum,” said Christie. “I’m going to continue to campaign hard in South Jersey, and the residents of Cape May County will have no stronger voice in Trenton.”
Cape May County joins county Republican organizations in Union, Monmouth, Essex, Burlington, Camden, and Passaic Counties in their endorsement of Christie. Christie has swept all of the county and district endorsements that have been awarded to this point.
