By Press Release

GALLOWAY —  Major-party candidates in the 2nd Congressional District election have agreed to meet in a debate on the Stockton University campus, Oct. 10.
The debate between Republican Seth Grossman, a former Atlantic City councilman and Atlantic County freeholder, and Democrat Jeff Van Drew (D-1st), a state senator, will be held on the evening of Oct. 10 in Stockton’s Campus Center Theatre.
The public forum will be co-sponsored by the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy of Stockton University and The Press of Atlantic City.
National political leaders and pundits are watching the race for the open District 2 seat as incumbent Rep. Frank LoBiondo, (R-2nd), prepares to retire from Congress and partisan control of the House is contested.
Further details about the debate, including time and format, will be announced soon.
