By Herald Staff

COURT HOUSE — The Cape May County League of Women Voters forum will take place today, Oct. 21. An incorrect date was reported in the Herald Oct. 15 print edition.
The event will take place at the Performing Arts Center at Middle Township High School, on Bayberry Drive.
The Cape May County League of Women Voters is running an all-inclusive forum for congressional candidates as well as a question/answer session with county sheriff candidates.
The League and 98.7 FM WCZT, The Coast Radio, are joining forces this year to sponsor the only candidates forum in the county where all six candidates running for the 2nd Congressional District will be present.
Candidates who will participate include: incumbent Frank LoBiondo (R-2nd); David Kurkowski, Democrat; Peter Boyce, Constitution Party; Jason Grover, Green Party; Constantino Rozzo, Socialist Party; and Gary Stein, Independent.
The forum for the congressional candidates will begin at 7:30 p.m. with opening statements from the candidates. Panelists from the League of Women Voters and the news department of Coastal Broadcasting will pose the questions to the candidates.
There will be no questions taken from the audience during the forum, but questions can be submitted in advance via www.987thecoast.com.
The forum will conclude at 9 p.m.
The forum will be broadcast live on 98.7FM and can also be heard live on the Web site.
Prior to the congressional forum, the candidates for the office of county Sheriff will also participate in a question and answer session beginning at 6:45 p.m.
George Hallett, Democrat, and Gary Schaffer, Republican, will meet to respond to questions asked by the League of Women Voters.
