DENNISVILLE — New Jersey State Police are seeking the public’s help in solving a crime where two men were injured during a violent home invasion robbery Jan. 23.
According to police, three masked men entered a township home. The attackers pistol whipped and tied up the victims. The assailants ransacked the residence, stealing two legally-owned guns as well as the victims’ wallets.
One victim was hospitalized at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center for a fractured skull. He has since been discharged from the hospital.
According to a press release from NJ State Police, “Detectives from Troop A have followed numerous leads, but the crime remains unsolved.”
The driver’s license of one victim was found, put into a mailbox at an unknown location. It was sent to Post Office headquarters and mailed to the victim.
“Troopers are hoping the person who located the license will contact them with information about where the license was found,” stated the press release.
