Planning Board Discusses Walmart Expansion Application

COURT HOUSE – The Planning Board held their regular meeting to discuss the Walmart expansion application March 11 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting took place at Middle Township Municipal Hall.
Further explanation of what was discussed was presented in the planning board’s agenda. “Application for review: Expand existing Walmart by 43,000 square feet. Portion of expansion will takeover existing strip retail/restaurants to north of building. Site improvements include but not limited to: parking lot modifications, landscape lighting improvements, underground stormwater management basin and modification to existing infiltration basin to northeast side of property. Multiple variances being requested.”
