PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCMENTS:
• Everyone is reminded that the Bicycle regulations for riding on the Boardwalk are still in effect on Saturdays only through the Block Party Weekend in October. Please be courteous and remember we are all here to enjoy the fabulous weather of the Fall season.
• The Police Department assisted with the Annual Corvette Show on Sept. 21, 2008. The show parades through the town and displays vehicles along the boardwalk.
• The Police Department would like to remind everyone that Schools are now open. Please drive carefully and Do Not Pass a School Bus with flashing red lights.
• The Police Department assisted with the Annual MS Bike A Thon from Cherry Hill to Ocean City. This year 7000 riders and their support staff participated with the end of the journey being celebrated at 5th St. & the Boardwalk on Sept. 27, 2008.
• The Police Department assisted with the Annual ALS Walk A Thon along the Ocean City Boardwalk on Sept. 27, 2008
• Just a reminder that the Parking Meters are still active and the regulations being enforced until the Block Party Weekend in October.
