Motel Worker, Guest Save Drowning Man

WILDWOOD CREST – A 34-year-old Fair Lawn, N.J. man was discovered unconscious at the bottom of the pool of a motel, located on the 400 block East Lavender Road May 28 at 8:20 p.m.

Wildwood Crest Police and Rescue units from Wildwood Crest and Wildwood City responded and found the male had been pulled from the pool by a motel worker and a motel guest. CPR was initiated by responding officers and rescue crews. The male was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center and is listed in critical condition. This incident is being investigated by the Wildwood Crest Detective Division.
