OCEAN CITY – A memorial service will be held March 12 to celebrate the life of former Miss New Jersey Cara McCollum, according to an NBC 10 Philadelphia report.
McCollum, a South Jersey news anchor, succumbed to her injuries a week after a car crash Feb. 15. She was traveling north on Route 55 in Pittsgrove Township when police say her car spun off the road and struck a tree head-on, according to the report.
Her funeral services were held in her hometown in Arkansas.
Her memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Ocean City Tabernacle on Wesley Avenue in Ocean City.
