Man Rescued from Collapsed Cesspool

GREEN CREEK – On Jan. 12, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Middle Township Police Department responded to the 200 block Route 47 South, in Green Creek, for a report of a man falling into a collapsed cesspool. 
Vincent Deprinzio, 71, was inspecting his cesspool, which had collapsed during the night, when the dirt he was standing on collapsed, causing him to fall in. 
First responders were able to assist Deprinzio from the hole, and he was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center with an ankle injury. Green Creek Fire and Middle Township EMS (emergency medical services) assisted at the scene.
