CAPE MAY – Want a casual restaurant where the food is made from scratch, the drinks made well, and the service and atmosphere warm and fun? Dec. 31, 2005 was the last night for the popular and fun Pelican Club in Cape May. It was the landlord’s decision to turn that space into condominium units so the Pelican Family was looking for a new place to go. Opportunity arose and we were able to secure the former Anchorage Inn. Now family owned and operated by the Craigs’ of Washington Inn, Love The Cook & Cape May Winery, everyone here at Lucky Bones wanted to offer one restaurant & bar that had fresh pizzas, burgers, or entrees to meet everyone’s palate.
Have you ever had a whole fish? Try our whole fish, with head, bones and all, keeps the flavors and able to be filleted table side. Our Cuban Spiced Pork Chop which we kept from the Pelican Club is a local favorite. Don’t forget about our many thin crust pizzas, especially our classic Jule & Margherita!
Experience a new tradition in Cape May and join us at Lucky Bones. We had one thing in mind when opening Lucky Bones and that was this new kind of restaurant that our neighbors and our visitors can enjoy the foods they like to eat. But when they eat here, they are eating delicious food made from scratch, not out of the box.
Lucky Bones Backwater Grille is conveniently located on the right side at the end of the first bridge going into Cape May. Open 7 days a week, serving lunch and dinner from 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
