Lower Township Hosts 1st Veterans Parade

VILLAS – There was a showing of patriotism Nov. 10 in Villas as the township’s first Veterans Parade marched south on Bayshore Road. 
Many residents bundled up against the chilly wind to salute the veterans who passed by in carts, Jeeps and more. 
Young school musicians, clad in blue and black uniforms, performed as they went.
Many waved American flags as a show of patriotism and to say “Thank you” to those who served and continue to serve in all branches of services, especially the Coast Guard which paraded a large number of recruits from Training Center Cape May.
