Lower Township Debate Tonight at 7 p.m.

VILLAS – A debate of Ward One Lower Township Council candidates will take place tonight ( Fri., Oct. 15) at 7 p.m. at the Millman Center, located under the water tower on Bayshore Road.
The Herald and Coastal Broadcasting (98.7 The Coast) are working together to sponsor the debate. The event was coordinated by Coastal Broadcasting News Director Denis Brown and Herald reporter Jack Fichter.
Incumbent Republican Tom Conrad and independent candidates Janet Pitts and Joseph Will have confirmed their participation in the debate.
The Herald and Coastal Broadcasting invited all reporters that cover Lower Township to formulate questions and participate in the debate. Reporters from the Star & Wave, Cape May Gazette and Press of Atlantic City have confirmed they will attend and question the candidates. The League of Women Voters will moderate the debate.
The public will have the opportunity to submit questions to the three candidates. Doors open at 6:30 with the debate starting at 7 p.m.
