Adult Continuing Education classes start at Lower Cape May Regional Feb. 8.
Learn how to use computers and do more sophisticated things with them, take an art course, learn about taxes or just take one of the many fun classes like learning more about the Pine Barrens.

There’s a talent showcase at the high school tonight at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
The students on the mock trial team for Lower should be congratulated for their undefeated run in the first round of competition against other county high schools.
They started the second round last night against Middle Township and those two schools will battle it out for county title in a two out of three wins series.

The Dramis Detachment Auxiliary of the Marine Corps league is hosting lunch at Atkinson’s Tavern on Route 9 in Court House on Feb. 13, 14, 15 and 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There are menu choices available and tips are included in the $12 price.
Treat yourself to a meal out and meet some new folks and find out what the auxiliary and league do in our community.

The library is running a Cool Readers club for kids in kindergarten to fifth grade.
Stop by our branch and Bayshore Road and pick up a packet for your child.

Tomorrow night the planning board will be looking at the conversion of the Bayview Inn into 24 condominiums and the final site plan for the Grand Hotel, both Diamond Beach projects.
There are also two applications for teardowns of exiting homes with requests for variances to build bigger houses than zoning would allow on Brookdale Avenue and West New Jersey Avenue.
