WOGL Breakfast Club DJs Frank Lewis and Bill Zimpfer will be making waves above and beyond the airwaves in a head-to-head on-air challenge to raise public awareness and funds for the 3rd Annual Polar Bear Plunge in Wildwood on Jan. 17 at the Wildwoods Convention Center.
The DJs announced their plans to test the waters and join the hundreds of people who take the Plunge that benefits Special Olympics New Jersey.
The Polar Bear Plunge challenges participants to take a mid-winter dip in the chilly Atlantic Ocean to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics New Jersey.
Plungers must raise a minimum of $100 to participate. Spectators are free.
Prizes based on fundraising will be awarded. Lunch is available on site for free to Plungers and at a minimum fee to spectators
