$1000 Cash Prizes will be given to the six best decorated boats in Ocean City’s Night In Venice Boat Parade, any size or theme, Sat., July 19 starting 7:30 p.m. by the Longport Bridge.
$100 Gas Cards will be given to all who enter a boat in the Parade!
These awards are made possible by the Ocean City Tourism Commission, funded by an addition to the mercantile tax. This money does not come from the City’s budget.
Non-Cash prizes will be given as usual in the following categories, Most Original, Best Decorated, Best Lead Boat, Musical, Comic, Classic, Children’s Division.
All who enter a boat will receive a commemorative mug and a photo of their boat in the Parade in addition to the $100 gas cards.
$400 cash prizes will be awarded to the best four decorated homes.
