RIO GRANDE — The Cape May County Herald’s website is the runner-up in the Suburban Newspapers of America (SNA) “Best Local Community Website” contest in Class D, which is non-daily newspapers with a circulation of 100,000 or less.
The Herald’s site won first place in 2008.
“We are impressed with the 24/7 news updates throughout the site,” SNA judges stated. “The multi-media features, social networking features on the site enhance the user experience. The site is user friendly and focuses on community news and events.”
The Herald built its own web applications from the ground up and maintains an online development team. The Herald’s web products are being used by other publishers nationwide.
