RIO GRANDE – The Cape May County Herald is using its Spout-off section in a new way.
For the first time, the section will be used as a way to say “thank you” to county businesses, government entities, community leaders or unsung heroes that have made sacrifices for the community’s benefit amid the coronavirus pandemic. The section, dedicated to these people/businesses, will be featured in the April 15 edition of the Herald.
Per the Herald’s Spout-off website, the usual comment standards have changed to permit mentioning specific businesses. Submissions are limited to 600 characters and may be edited or omitted.
“At the Herald, we are forever grateful for the remarkable work of our health care providers, first responders, and other essential workers who are keeping us safe,” a notice on the Spout-off website reads. “We can’t wait to read about our community heroes and their actions that will remain in our hearts for years to come.”
