Woodbine to Receive Cape May County MUA Recycling Rebate

By Press Release

WOODBINE – The Borough of Woodbine will receive a 2013 recycling rebate in the amount of $4,346.97 from the Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority (CMCMUA).
Rebates are apportioned to municipalities based upon the tons of recyclables delivered to the CMCMUA’s Intermediate Processing Facility (IPF) for processing during 2013. The recycling rebates are in addition to the savings represented by avoiding the landfill tip fee for every ton recycled.
“Woodbine 2013 IPF was based upon receipt of 274.18 tons of recyclable materials. Having our recycling and trash picks-ups now on the same day has added to the convenience for our residents and thus should continue to increase our recycling rate,” added Mayor Pikolycky, “For more information visit www.cmcmua.com or call 465-9026.”
