Woodbine to Hold Public Hearing on Firehouse Improvements

WOODBINE – The Borough of Woodbine will hold a Public Hearing on July 17, 2014, at 6:00 p.m., in the Main Meeting Room of the Borough Hall, 501 Washington Avenue, Woodbine, NJ 08270.
The purpose of this hearing is as follows: to explain federal and state guidelines; to review eligible and proposed program activities; to consider proposals for an application under the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program; and to receive citizen comments and recommendations.
The Borough of Woodbine is considering the submission of a Public Facilities Application for $400,000 for renovation of the Woodbine Fire Station.
“I urge all citizens to attend this hearing and show their support for this project to make needed upgrades to our century-old Woodbine Fire Station,” added Mayor Pikolycky.
