Woodbine Takes Delivery of New Fire Engine

Woodbine Mayor William Pikolycky

By Press Release

WOODBINE – The Borough of Woodbine has taken delivery of a new pumper truck.
According to a release, “The Woodbine Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank Mayor Pikolycky and the Borough Council for their assistance in acquiring a new 2019 Rosenbaugh 1,000-gallon capacity and 2,000-gallon pump fire truck,” stated Chief Manuel Gonzalez.
Along with this fire truck, the borough has also assisted the Woodbine Volunteer Fire Department in receiving grants for S.C.B.A. (breathing) units and fire gear for all firefighters, along with an additional equipment grant.
This will assist the volunteer firefighters in their ability to provide protection of property and of saving lives.
“Keeping pace with state-of-the-art upgrades has been a continuing part of my administration’s support of the department as these changes evolve more and more rapidly, requiring more and more assistance which we have been fortunate to receive through grants from many sources,” stated Mayor William Pikolycky.
