WOODBINE – The Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund (JIF) presented the Borough of Woodbine and its staff with a Certificate of Achievement in the area of Service Excellence from their Safety Incentive Program for 2019.
According to a release, Municipal Clerk Lisa Garrison, who serves as Woodbine’s JIF fund commissioner, and Public Works Supervisor & JIF Safety Coordinator James Gurdgiel accepted the award at the annual breakfast meeting.
The certificate was in recognition of Woodbine’s meeting all of the parameters of the Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund Safety Incentive Program.
“As mayor I am proud of this accomplishment which honors our municipal employees and benefits our taxpayers by keeping insurance costs stable and by providing us an award of $2,000 which will be used to enhance our municipal safety programs,” commented Mayor William Pikolycky. “Congratulations to all our employees on their performance that earned us this certificate.”
