WOODBINE – The Borough of Woodbine has received USDA Rural Development Community Facilities Fire & Rescue Grant funding in the amount of $37,500.
These funds would be used to purchase 12 sets custom firefighter turnout gear, gas detector with protective cover, auto bump calibration station, thermal imaging camera, piston intake relief valve, TFT Blitzfire Package, mid-range assault nozzle with pistol grip.
“This funding will allow our Woodbine Volunteer Fire Department to have state-of-the-art compliant gear which is vital to ensure that our first responders have the most advanced and updated equipment available for their protection,” said Mayor Pikolycky.
