WOODBINE – The Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund (JIF) presented the Borough of Woodbine and its staff with a Certificate of Achievement in the area of Service Excellence from their Safety Incentive Program for 2017. Municipal Clerk Lisa Garrison, who serves as Woodbine’s JIF Fund Commissioner, and Public Works Supervisor & JIF Safety Coordinator James Gurdgiel were on hand to accept the award at the March 20 breakfast meeting.
The certificate was in recognition of the Borough of Woodbine meeting all of the parameters of the Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund Safety Incentive Program.
“In obtaining this accomplishment, the taxpayer benefits as it both keeps our insurance costs down and also provides us an award of $1650 that will allow us to purchase additional items to enhance our municipal safety programs,” commented Mayor Pikolycky. “I again congratulate all our employees on their performance that earned us this certificate.”
