Woodbine Receives $175,000 in NJDOT Municipal Aid Program Grant Funding

By Press Release

WOODBINE — The New Jersey Department of Transportation has awarded the Borough of Woodbine $175,000 in Municipal Aid program grant funding.
This funding will be for the reconstruction of South DeHirsch Avenue from Washington Avenue to Madison Avenue for infrastructure improvements including the installation of drainage facilities, handicap sidewalk ramps and new roadway pavement. This work will complement other recent improvements on a nearly completed stormwater drainage project in the immediate area.
“We thank the New Jersey Department of Transportation for all of their past support and now for this latest, much-needed, funding,” concluded Mayor Pikolycky. “Absent this funding we would not have been be able to complete these necessary capital improvements without a tax increase for our residents and businesses.”
