WOODBINE – The Borough of Woodbine has made application to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund (HDSRF) for a grant totaling $464,687 for additional remedial investigation activities at the Former Foundations & Structures (F&S) Landfill. The requested funding is to supplement the existing grant to further delineate groundwater quality downgradient of the landfill.
“If the requested funding grant is approved, the environmental studies will allow us to work towards making the property available for re-development in accordance with the redevelopment zone regulations that were established by the Borough in 2005. We thank NJDEP for their consideration in this matter,” noted Mayor Pikolycky.
