WOODBINE – The Cape May County Department of Human Services has informed the Woodbine Municipal Alliance that the Governor’s Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (GCADA) has approved the Alliance for a grant totaling $11,000.
This funding consists of a DEDR (State) funds in the amount of $5,500, municipal cash match of $1,375, and an in-kind match of $4,125, both provided by the Borough, for a total grant of $11,000.
“Our Alliance grant has now been reauthorized for another year, allowing the Alliance to continue to sponsor and support the numerous activities throughout the community and at the school, including their work to promote our Lincoln Park, our outdoor recreational area, as a community asset,” added Mayor Pikolycky. “As the support of volunteers is essential to continue the Committee’s work, I ask anyone interested in assisting with the Municipal Alliance to please contact my office.”
