CREST HAVEN — The Cape May County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women is seeking applicants for membership.
The fourteen-member board is seeking to fill three seats. Those vacancies are for three-year terms. There are also two openings for alternate members of the group.
”We do a lot of outreach,” said Commission Chairperson Kathleen Bresan. “We study the needs and concerns of women and girls in Cape May County.”
Individuals chosen as members of the Commission represent various segments of the county’s population.
The group meets on the fourth Tues. of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Old Court House on Main Street.
An information pack and application is available by calling (609) 463-6695 and leaving a message. All calls will be returned.
