WILDWOOD – The City of Wildwood’s beach parking lot will open for the season May 25 at 10 a.m.
According to a release, the lot at Baker Avenue was opened last year and had much success which lead to an expansion of the space for 2019.
Operated by Beach Services and Beach Patrol, the parking lot creates an opportunity to get closer to the beach, ocean, and boardwalk.
The lot features parking for four-wheel drive vehicles at $10 per car. The lot accepts cash only.
Times and hours will be weekends from May 25 through June 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and daily starting June 16 with hours to be released at a later date.
From the parking lot, beachgoers can hop on the Beach Taxi and get shuttled straight to a spot near the water.
In June, designated handicap-accessible parking will launch with a new fleet of beach wheelchairs from Wildwood Beach Patrol.
