Wildwood Police Warns of Improper Parking; Tickets Forthcoming

By Herald Staff

WILDWOOD – Beginning immediately and for the next two week period, the Wildwood Police Department will be issuing written warnings to all drivers and vehicle owners of vehicles who are improperly parked on the wrong side of the roadway, within the city.
Owners and operators of vehicles who are parked on the wrong side of the roadway or against the flow of traffic cause increased traffic hazards.
This improper parking violation, coinciding with the summer season causes an increase in motor vehicle collisions which result in needless injuries and property damage.
This increased enforcement will make drivers and vehicle owners aware of the violation, as well as reduce the traffic hazard to other drivers and pedestrians.
At the end of this two week period officers will issue motor vehicle summons for any violations that they observed.
