Wildwood Police Respond to 4,214 Calls in April

WILDWOOD — City of Wildwood police officers responded to 4,214 calls during the month of April. Included in that number were calls for eight burglaries; four aggravated assaults; seven simple assaults; nine domestic violence; 253 disturbances; 22 thefts; 73 suspicious persons and 31 suspicious vehicles.
Police conducted 764 motor vehicle stops, responded to 13 motor vehicle accidents and nine calls for driving while intoxicated. Officers also responded to 87 calls for medical assistance and 12 fire alarms. Officers conducted 31 drug investigations.
Arrests included 128 adult arrests, with seven juvenile arrests.
