Wildwood Police Respond to 4,090 Calls in Oct.

WILDWOOD — The Wildwood Police Department responded to 4,090 calls during the month of Oct. Included in that number were: Five calls for aggravated assault; 12 calls for simple assault; 12 calls for burglary; eight calls for domestic violence; 207 calls for disturbances; 70 calls reporting suspicious persons; 27 calls reporting suspicious vehicles; and 39 calls reporting theft.
Police conducted 328 motor vehicle stops; responded to one call of a motor vehicle theft; 2 calls for driving while intoxicated; and responded to 12 motor vehicle accidents.
Police assisted with 26 fire alarm calls and 87 calls for medical assistance.
Officers conducted 17 drug investigations.
The 71 arrests in Oct. included four juveniles and 67 adults.
