Wildwood Police Respond to 1,676 Calls

WILDWOOD — The City of Wildwood police department responded to 1,676 calls during the month of Feb. Included in that number were calls for 10 burglaries; one aggravated assault; 13 simple assaults; 10 domestic violence; 145 disturbances; 20 thefts; 49 suspicious persons and 16 suspicious vehicles.
Police conducted 316 motor vehicle stops, responded to 18 motor vehicle accidents and four driving while intoxicated. Officers also responded to 95 calls for medical assistance and 15 fire alarms. Officers conducted nine drug investigations.
Arrests included 50 adults and three juveniles.
