Wildwood Police Launch New Social Media Page

By Press Release

WILDWOOD — The Wildwood Police Department have cast a larger net in stopping crime and protecting citizens by launching a new Facebook page.
According to Chief Robert Regalbuto, police launched a new Facebook page that will be updated on a daily basis to include emergency notifications, school closings, bridge closings, flooding and arrest lists. Police will also use the page to ask the public for its help in solving crime.
“Our plans are to also add Twitter and Nixle to our social media outlets so we can better notify the public,” Regalbuto said.
Future plans call for the possibility of a Wildwood Police Department app that would also send notifications to subscribers.
“Now that we’re developing a strong social media presence, we’d like everyone to follow us so they can be kept informed,” said Regalbuto. Facebook subscribers can access the Wildwood Police Department’s page at https://www.facebook.com/#!/wildwoodpolice.
