WILDWOOD — Captain Daniel Speigel was promoted to Deputy Fire Chief of the City of Wildwood Fire Department Nov. 22. Friends, family and firefighting colleagues from the tri-state area attended the promotion held at Wildwood City Hall. Chief Speigel began his career in 1992 as a part-time firefighter. He was appointed full time in 1995, promoted to Lieutenant in 2001 and Captain in 2003.
Chief Speigel’s daughter pinned his badge with his wife, mother and father looking on. Chief Speigel’s father is a retired Fire Chief from the City of Wildwood Fire Department.
