CORRECTION: Jason W. Hesley is the shared assessor for Wildwood and North Wildwood under an original agreement from January 2014. The recently approved Wildwood resolution extended that agreement for 2018. The below story indicated the appointment was new.
WILDWOOD ─ According to Wildwood City Commissioners, Wildwood, and North Wildwood will enter a shared services agreement for an assessor. The current tax assessor is Jason Hesley.
Commissioners and Engineer Edward Dennis will meet with Jack Morey of the Morey Organization Dec. 8 to discuss a proposed bike path. Morey has offered easements, thus allowing the path to run under Morey’s Pier. Morey believes the plan is possible. The city’s bike path has been placed on hold due to the Department of Environmental Protection and Army Corps of Engineers’ dune installment plan.
