WILDWOOD CREST — The Wildwood Crest School District Child Study Team is conducting a Child Find campaign to locate and provide services for children who reside in Wildwood Crest, ages 3 to 5 and who may have significant physical, mental, language, or emotional difficulties.
Project Child Find was established by the state Department of Education as a free public awareness and referral service to assist parents and professionals by identifying available early intervention, preschool handicapped and special education programs throughout New Jersey.
In addition, Project Child Find develops and distributes information to the public about early intervention and special education services for children from birth through 21 years of age.
Information is also available for early intervention services for special needs children, birth to 3 years.
To schedule a Wildwood Crest child, ages 3 to 5, for pre-school assessment, call Linda Matthews, Child Study Team Secretary, at (609) 522-1522 ext 113.
