Wildwood Crest Police Capitan Charged With DUI Retires

By Herald Staff

WILDWOOD CREST– Police Capt. Dan Bradley, who was charged with driving while intoxicated after hitting a fire hydrant in Wildwood on Oct. 24, officially retired Monday, Chief Thomas DePaul said, according to a report by the Press of Atlantic City.
According to the report, Borough Clerk Kevin Yecco said Monday that Bradley, who completed 25 years of service with the department in March, initiated the retirement process in June.
His retirement was to have taken effect Dec. 1, but Yecco said Bradley asked the state police and fire pension system to move that date to Nov. 1 following the DWI arrest, reducing his time in the pension system by a month.
