WILDWOOD CREST – The Wildwood Crest Board of Commissioners has passed a resolution designating the first full week of May as “Coast Guard Community Week” in the borough. The action was taken during the board’s regular bimonthly meeting April 15.
The resolution was passed in respect to Cape May County’s official designation as a Coast Guard Community via U.S. Congress and in advance of Cape May County’s Coast Guard Community Festival scheduled for May 8-10 in Cape May.
With this resolution, the Borough of Wildwood Crest recognizes the excellent service provided by members of the United States Coast Guard, particularly those stationed at the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, some of whom reside in Wildwood Crest.
