WILDWOOD CREST – The Wildwood Crest Adopt-A-Beach program is seeking additional volunteers to help beautify the borough’s beaches.
The Wildwood Crest Adopt-A-Beach program was established in 2016 and consists of groups adopting one of the borough’s 42 beach street-ends for litter abatement. The goal is to work with the community to protect the environment by keeping trash off the beaches and out of the ocean.
The Adopt-A-Beach program has helped keep the Wildwood Crest beaches ranked among the cleanest and best both across the state and nationwide.
Volunteers in the program have their group names displayed on the Adopt-A-Beach sign at a designated street end.
For more information and to receive an application, please call the Adopt-A-Beach coordinator at the Department of Public Works (609) 522-7446 or email ksagal@wildwoodcrest.org.
