By Press Release

WILDWOOD – Petition packets for the upcoming Nov. 3 election to elect three City Commissioners are now available for pick-up in the Wildwood City Clerk’s Office.
Potential candidates must be full-time residents of the City of Wildwood and are required to obtain 25 signatures of registered voters in the city.
“Although the requirement is 25, we ask that potential candidates obtain 30 signatures to allow for signature disqualifications,” City Clerk Christopher Wood explained.
Petition packets may be picked up Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the City Clerk’s Office located on the first floor of Wildwood City Hall, 4400 New Jersey Ave.
“If interested, we encourage any citizen to come to our office and pick up their petition packet,” said Wood.
Deadline for candidates to return their completed petition packet to the City Clerk’s Office is Aug. 31 by 4 p.m., with the drawing for ballot position scheduled for Sept. 11 at 3:30 p.m. in City Hall.
For additional information please contact the City Clerk’s Office at 609-522-2444.
