Wildwood American Legion Links with Seaville Fire Co. Seeking Donations for Coast Guard Families

American Legion Post 184 Dinner Raises Funds for Building Repair

By Press Release

WILDWOOD – The American Legion Post 184, Wildwood, is teaming up with Kevin Boyle from the Seaville Fire Company. Boyle is on a mission to help the local Coast Guard personnel whose families have been affected by the partial government shut down, according to a release.
The Coast Guard, as a branch of the Department of Homeland Security, was not funded as were other military services under the Department of Defense. Instead, Coast Guard service members are working without pay.
Boyle is collecting diapers, baby food, non-perishable food, and monetary funds.
Donors can take the supplies to the Seaville Fire Company, 36 Route 50, Seaville or the American Legion Post 184, 4200 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood.
