WEST WILDWOOD – Borough officials continue a program started in 2013 ensuring all employees are certified in CPR. The training occurred at Borough Hall Feb. 27. As a part of this training, they also reviewed the deployment and operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
The Borough has an AED in the Tax Office and at the Public Works building in addition to the police vehicles.
The Borough reached out to Wildwood Fire Chief Daniel Speigel for assistance in the training. Speigel, in his endeavor to work with the other island communities, agreed to provide one of his firefighters, Adam Feltwell, to conduct the recertification training.
“The Borough recognizes the importance of rendering aid in a cardiac event” stated Mayor Christopher Fox in a release. “Since our staff is engaged with the community on a daily basis, they can now provide immediate aid if called upon.”
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
