By Press Release

WEST WILDWOOD – The United States Department of Agriculture has provided funding for a new marked police vehicle. The Borough made application through the USDA earlier in 2016 and were approved for a grant of 20,200.00 toward the total price of 33,300.00.
The USDA is an invaluable agency to the Borough and has provided the funding for equipment to enhance our police department’s ability to maintain a reliable fleet. Howard Henderson, the State Director of the USDA, along with his staff has provided an invaluable service to the taxpayers of the Borough according to Mayor Fox. He added “this is a great example of one government agency working with another to benefit the public”.
The police vehicle has been put into service and can be seen patrolling the streets of the Borough of West Wildwood.
