COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Communications Office is now including a Quick Response code or QR code on printed materials produced by their office. When scanned, the QR code will take users to the County’s website, capemaycountygov.net.
Communications Director Lenora Boninfante said, “The code was developed as a quick way to direct smart phone users to the County’s website.” “We are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to reach our residents in order to keep them better informed about the services and programs that Cape May County Government provides,” added Boninfante.
A QR code is a specific matrix barcode or two-dimensional code that is readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera telephones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded may be text, URL or other data.
The Cape May County Communications Office uses a multi-media approach to reaching the community. To keep informed, you can visit the county’s website, capemaycountygov.net, become a fan of county government on Facebook or follow county government on Twitter. Additionally, look for Cape May County Government on traditional media such as radio, television and print.
For more information scan our code or call 609-463-6678.
