TRENTON – Senate President Steve Sweeney today (Thursday, Jan. 14) announced the Senate Democratic Leadership team and committee chairs for the 2010-2011 legislative session, saying that the newly-assembled team will provide a diverse outlook on the issues impacting New Jersey’s residents.
Of local interest, Sen. Jeff Van Drew (D-1st) was named chairman of the Community and Urban Affairs Committee and vice chairman of the Military and Veteran Affairs Committee.
